My pontoon lift is very close to the neighbors lift. This requires me to kick out the stern ASAP once I am clear of the boat lift. I've also been much too close to catching my Bimini top supports when backing out. I bought two cushions and I’m very pleased with the results. Once the port pontoon hits the first cushion it kicks the stern out a bit. The placement of the second cushion completes the final push at the exact time I need it. The cushions are heavy duty and should be able to last quite a few years. On comment I read complained that the plastic lock comes loose too easy. Mine both are locked onto the vertical axle without issues.
