DAMO's cup wheels are designed for profiling edges, smoothing out inside sinkhole cuts, smoothing rough surfaces, preparation of material for lamination and heavy stock removal. They are the premium choice for any grinding, shaping or beveling work of concrete, granite, and other stones.Utilizing the latest "Multilayer Vacuum Brazed Technology," the cup wheels are super aggressive, so the operator doesn't need to apply a lot of pressure when pressing down, the cup wheels will naturally use the gravitational force for operation unlike the conventional cup wheels. They really make the job easy loaded for the operator.All of DAMO's cup wheels are balanced by Dynamic Balancer, which will prevent your angle grinder to vibrate vigorously for unsafe operation as well as premature failure.DAMO's cup wheels are designed with special swirl turbo segments which act as a turbofan for quick cooling of the working cup wheels. This will help prevent high temperatures that will lead to short life and less aggressiveness of the cup wheels.The coarse type (diamond grits 30/40) is used for aggressive grinding.They are designed for dry applications but work very well during wet applications. They can be used on most popular high-speed angle grinders with 5/8"-11 threaded spindles.The Dust Shroud is designed for use with diamond cup wheels for floor grinding applications. The max. collar size is 1-13/16" which fits most 4" to 5" hand grinders including Makita, Bosch, Dewalt and more. But it does not fit all grinders. Please check your collar size before buying.Outside diameter of hose connector is 1-1/4". This product really works but need some modification. I removed the flexible clip that came with it and installed regular hose ring and tighten up I also had to put double sided tape to get some grip for the hose ring. It works very well and if you know how to use this product it is 95% dust free cause i used this item down stair in my basement while i was installing tile where there was uneven concrete floor. I even used it upstairs in my kitchen floor without covering anything. I used 5 gallon RidGid brand commercial vacuum to suck the dust away from grinder. It is very tricky to attach regular vacuum hose to this small opening. I had to get some type of adapter from home depot to make it work with duct tape around. The adapter i got from Amazon did not work for my vacuum. Only complain about this product is the dust skirt that seals the floor is very cheaply made. You can make your own with a old used piece of tube or flexible rubber. That Velcro is a joke. I used heavy duty zip tie on top of that Velcro to secure the skirt while i move the grinder around. Other thing this unit should have vacuum connection on left side instead of right side. This is a design flaw. If you are a DIY type of person then you should not have any problem to modify this unit the way you want to make it work. I used this shroud with my harbor freight 4 inch drill master grinder that has smaller opening than this shroud, that's why i had to make adjustment. it won't fit right out of the box though. If you are not into spend some time to make some kind of change on this unit than you need to look for better option that will fit with your grinder right out of the box. Price was excellent for this product compare to other brand and it did serve the purpose. if some one would like to see the picture of what i did then please let me know then i will post some pictures and video here.Thanks
