This cleaner seems powerful without damaging the leather. My Dad hadn't cleaned or conditioned his leather seats since he bought his Yukon XL in 2001, so I set about cleaning the seats. Some of the leather was very dirty and quite worn (2 rips, cracked, dry) from over 200,000 miles of driving, and I used the cleaner on some areas where I was afraid it might do some damage. The cleaner works really well, and it didn't appear to do any damage to the leather. I followed up with Sonus leather conditioner, and in areas that had less wear, the seats felt and smelled like new.I used both products on my wallet as well, and it did a good job of cleaning up the dirt.
